Whether you’re just starting to workout or it’s been part of your routine for awhile, I find that new workout clothes always get me motivated to hit the gym, especially now that Spring is here. Just about every woman, myself included, seems to have a teeny, tiny addiction to wearing workout clothes both in and outside of the gym. It’s my absolute favorite thing to wear. They make up probably 90% of my outfits because, let’s be honest, they are just soooo comfortable! I wanted to share with you what my five favorite stores to buy cute and affordable workout clothes are. They will keep you looking fabulous without costing a fortune! Hey, then you can use that extra money for brunch with the girls this weekend *hand raise*.
Outlets are a total gem! They have stores like Nike and Adidas where you can get really cute gear from prior seasons for a fraction of the cost. Some items can still be on the pricey side because active wear doesn’t come cheap. I’ve come across so many good deals over the years that it always has me coming back. This is where I get pretty much all my Nike pieces.
Forever is THE place to get your hands on trendy workout clothes. They always have the cutest pieces to choose from. Although their items aren’t made to last a lifetime, they definitely get the job done. I’ve bought everything from leggings to sports bras here and I haven’t had anything fall apart on me yet. The leggings that I have purchased from here have lasted a couple years. This is great and have helped me through many Crossfit classes.
Now I wouldn’t say Victoria’s is the cheapest place to shop, but they’re a store that always has sales. If you play your cards right, you can come away with lots of quality goods. I just took advantage of their 2 for $25 deal on sports bras where I snagged up some really cute ones. I wore them both this past week and they’re really comfortable.
I’ve recently rotated Nordies back into my usual stops and have been drooling over all the goodies that keep a woman looking cute at the gym. They carry so many great brands,_ in general, and have a lot available for active wear. Thanks to them, I’d say that I’m all set now for the warm days ahead!
Tj Maxx, Marshalls & Ross
I know that these are all separate stores but, in my mind, they’re kind of one big store. Maybe it’s because they’re always together in shopping centers. If one doesn’t have what I want, I just hop over the other one. I find that I have a lot of luck with shopping at these stores. True, you don’t always know what’s going to be available since they don’t put inventory online, but that’s half the fun! They have both designer brands and bargain brands.
When I slip on that new workout top or those cool kicks, I feel like a new woman who’s ready to take on the gym and kill it in my Crossfit shesh! Anyone else needing extra motivation at the moment? This outfit is a combination of a few of my absolute favorite places to shop for workout clothes at the moment. I came across this top recently at Nordstrom Rack and the color had me excited for spring, especially with the cute back details. I loved it so much that I bought it in yellow too! I really like adding fun prints and designs into my workout outfits, which is completely opposite to my regular look. So, when I found these leggings at a huge Christmas Sale at the Nike Outlet last year, I had to have them. My love for shoes is no joke! I find that the bond between a woman and her footwear is a sacred one. This pair from Creative Recreation are so stylish and comfortable. They literally go with everything! I’m all about statement shoes and these definitely fit the bill. Even though these are classic black and white, they stand out! They have the strap across the top and the striped laces which make them cool both in and out of the gym. Did I mention that I also have them in tan and black?
