I recently had the pleasure of going to the Palladio for an afternoon full of shopping and, of course, eating. The Palladio is a beautiful outdoor shopping center in Folsom that has everything from major stores like H&M and Nordstrom Rack to all kinds of cute boutiques, entertainment, and yummy restaurants. I love having a place where I can shop to my hearts content without the crowds you have to deal with at the mall. The opportunity to be outside and enjoy my time shopping makes the Palladio one of my favorite places to shop!
It was such a beautiful day to be out at the Palladio in Folsom! The warm temps definitely made me eager for all things Spring and kind of guided me as I shopped throughout the day. My first stop was Nordstrom Rack! I immediately made my way to the shoe section in search of a certain pair of Calvin Klein boots that one of my friends had just purchased from there. As luck would have it, I found the boots and they fit like a dream!
I continued to browse around and found a few other gems for Spring, like my bell-sleeve gingham top that I’m wearing and a mustard wrap skirt. I took a poll on Instagram asking you all if I should get the wrap skirt and the majority of you said “yes”, so into the shopping cart it went!
After my stop at Nordstrom Rack I popped into Apricot Lane, which is one of their adorable boutiques. Their style is perfect for the woman with a softer, more feminine style as they have lots of pastels and cute ruffles details for the Spring season. They have tons of cute accessories and I found a pair of wood earrings to show off.
Across the way was Button Up boutique, a store that my photographer recommended we check out. Think cool girl style with fabulous basics and awesome denim like PAIGE, Hudson, and Joe’s. I didn’t buy anything from here, but I did add a few things to my wish list!
One thing my little heart desired during my afternoon at the Palladio in Folsom was a new lippie color! Again, I blame the gorgeous weather. Off my legs took me to M.A.C. in search of something pretty! The ladies working at the store were incredibly helpful in finding the right color for me. Maybe it was my gingham top, but all the reds were speaking to me!
I wanted something a bit brighter that’d be the perfect “pop” for my outfits during the Spring and Summer. I fell in love with Ruby Woo. I’m told that it’s quite versatile and looks beautiful on a number of skin types. Lets hope it lives up to its name and gives me that wooing affect ; )
One thing I didn’t know from my previous visits to the Palladio was the number of places that focus on health and beauty. Walking around the Palladio, I saw everything from Orange Theory Fitness, Massage Heights, and Serenity Spa which also has a yoga studio called Soul Yoga, to Amazing Lash Studio and a nail salon. I’ve been in desperate need of a massage recently, I mean what gal isn’t?! So I’m making plans to return soon for a mini retreat and have a little “me” time.
After an afternoon of shopping, it was time for my favorite part of any day, meal time! I headed to the Palladio’s new restaurant, Lazy Dog, which I’ve been eager to check out. I wasn’t disappointed! Not only do they have delicious food, but they provide the perfect setup for dogs and even have a special menu for them. I mean, how cute is that?! I was definitely in heaven with all the cute pups around on the patio.
Now, back to the food! Anyone who’s gone out to eat with me knows that I love to try a bit of everything on the menu. I started out with their Seasonal Huckleberry Basil Bourbon Shrub (say that ten times fast!!) and a Jamaican Lemonade to cheers to a wonderful day at the Palladio!
I got the Roasted Street Carrots off of their seasonal menu and OMG were they good! My photographer and I were fighting over the last couple ones. I also ordered the brussel sprouts, Strawberry Field Salad, with their Sweet and Spicy Bowl w/ Tofu and Sundried Tomato Pesto as mains.

I left the Palladio with a happy tummy and some amazing new pieces for my Spring wardrobe; it was a good day! Thank you to the Palladio for sponsoring this post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
